At it's simplest level, BigFix can be thought of as a Remote Script Execution Client.
The BigFix environment consists of the following basic components
- A small BES Client
- A collection of Relay computers
- A BigFix Server
- Fixlets
- IBM Created
- Locally Created
- Console Operators
