When Someone Dies

What to do

1. Pause, grieve.
2. Post an appropriate Obituary in the local Newspaper.
3. Get Death Certificates, you will likely need multiple copies.
4. Start reaching out to Financial Institutions letting them know that the person has died. They will need a Death Certificate.
5. Make a list of those without beneficiary designations listed.
6. Make sure any real-estate property/businesses are secure.
