We need to find a good project to use a slab of wood with. We're thinking a "Coffee Table" for Mom and Dad with an inset "Shadow Box" that Dad can use to hold some of his Western Artifacts.

Dad has nixed the idea of a shadow box using the slab.

The finish has been removed from the slab and it looks good. We need to fill the rot with something. HomeDepot has some products that will fill rotten wood, I imagine that Lowes does as well.
