Efficiently use BigFix to patch a brand new Computer

Watched a video discussing a method using a Custom Site to allow computers to run "Catch Up" baselines when they are built, without these Actions impacting "Production" systems.

Relevance Clauses that might be of use ...

  • Are there any Relevant Baselines in the "Custom Content" site?
((number of relevant fixlets whose (value of header "X-Fixlet-Type" of it as string as lowercase contains "baseline") of sites whose (name of it as string as lowercase = "custom content")) > 0)
  • What are the names of the Relevant Baselines from the "Custom Content" site?
(values of header "Subject" of it) of relevant fixlets whose (value of header "X-Fixlet-Type" of it as string as lowercase contains "baseline") of sites whose (name of it as string as lowercase = "custom content")

Turns out that this might be a very bad idea in a large(ish) BigFix installation. When a Console is started, apparently, they load ALL the content. This potentially includes content from Sites where the Operator doesn't have access rights.
